In Evgeniya Pankratova’s works, the everyday becomes a grand stage, a place where the banal is charged with unexpected meaning and every gesture turns into a symbolic act. It is the theatre of the ordinary: silent, suspended, made of carefully arranged lights, shadows, and objects that invite the viewer to linger on the hidden power of habit. Through a visual narrative that weaves together the familiar and the mysterious, Pankratova explores the deeper meaning of repeated gestures, revealing their ritualistic and poetic nature.
Every fragment of reality appears as part of a shifting scenography, where the boundary between real and imaginary dissolves, opening space for new interpretations.
Her works celebrate light as a tool of revelation — a magic lantern that both illuminates and conceals — transforming the act of looking into a meditative, sensory experience. It is an invitation to rediscover the magic hidden in the folds of daily life, to recognize in even the simplest gesture a story waiting to be told.
